They're both chatting it up and surrounded with carrots and cheese thrown all over. It's clearly break time for Merem and Ciel's 'partners' and when the cats are away, the mice will play....]
"Aaaah, finally!! School is starting this week, right? So Master will be busy about that. She won't hit me and order me around as much anymore! The last month was particularly bad..."

[Merem really doesn't like issuing threats because it's simply beyond his normal personality. But he's protective of Ciel's current mind set. The Ciel he knew would not be Ciel if some fool came around and tried to normalize her. And Merem is completely dead set on keeping Ciel the way he wants her.
Being serious wasn't something he liked to indulge in so he went outside and spent some time with the only thing he did sincerely like. Animals.
He's chuckling and laughing at some birds and they actually respond to him with tweets every time he questions them.]

Feb. 6th, 2011 12:34 am[Outside of 1127 Taylor, a young boy of unknown origins comes stumbling out of the house, slightly confused. The only thing separating him from what he would have been as a drone is the white priest robe he decided to put on this morning.
Why is he confused?
He's holding a pair of purple panties in his hand, wondering how they ended up in his room. He stretches them slightly in wonderment.]
This must belong to...someone because I certainly am not in want to wear such things. Not to mention this is too girly for Ciel.

Oct. 18th, 2010 04:23 amReally, it's such a war out there between the foul Capitalist profiteers and the slave driving Communist hordes. But there's a secret to both sides of the story that neither side will reveal. Your freedoms in democracy are not so free after all and your freedoms in communism aren't quite realized either. Let me give you a lesson you will never learn here in Mayfield schools.
Karl Marx came up with a guideline that would mark the steps from a primitive society to a communist one. They are as follows.
1. Primitive Communism. Nearly everyone knows of this. It's when a primitive society of natives all work together to live. They are like this because they are forced to but nearly everyone is equal. You don't do your job and you will probably end up dead because the rest of the village will exclude you.
2. Slave Society. In this type of society, a few "rich" people will own slaves which will do their work for them. Unfortunately, the majority of the population will still be in grinding poverty but conditions will change soon.
3. Feudalism. Here, we start to see the rise of a new class of citizens. They prefer to go by the term "Capitalist". In a feudalistic society, these will mostly be merchants who take great risks to make great profits. Sooner or later, these merchants will begin to sway many to their side and we will see a new style of government.
4. Capitalism. Oh, this is what Mayfield is at right now. Supposedly everyone is free and able to work hard to make their own profits. The deep dark secrets? With Capitalism, we generally see a democratic form of government, where each person has a say in what happens. All too commonly though, the minorities in beliefs tend to be oppressed by the majority but very few complain because they are still given a sense of freedom.
5. Socialism. This is the style of government that is most commonly confused with Communism. All of you countries who claim to have reached Communism are lying to yourselves and are stuck in a Socialist Dictatorship. The point of this step is to organize the country and prepare the entire world for true communism. In this Socialist step, the government takes full control over the lives of the people and makes decisions for "the greater good". Supposedly, once preparations are complete, the leader swill step down and we will see-
6. Communism. A fabulous utopia where people work for the greater good of each other, no one owns anything, and there is no government. If you have even a bit of intelligence, you can see where this falls apart. Mainly the part where human nature makes people greedy and not willing to do hard work for the sake of another. Oh, and the part where if even one person in the world has more power than another, the entire system will fall apart.
So, take your choice, citizens of Mayfield. In the end, all systems are flawed but maybe for the sake of your own safety, it might be best to side with capitalists while you are in Mayfield.

Someone (and by someone, I mean Merem) hasn't partaken in any blood like he requires. Killing is oh so boring and he'd rather wait until he was on the edge of starvation.
But, then again, if he didn't, he'd dry up and wither away into a fine powder and that wasn't the kind of fate he was looking for.
So after partaking in drinking the blood of a random drone, he rips off its head just to assure it won't become a ghoul or possibly another vampire. You can never be too sure about these things and if ghouls started running around, he'd be the only target for Arcueid and Ciel.
The next problem was disposal.
You can easily find Merem stuffing a body larger than himself in a trashcan and then tossing the head in too. Do you know that drone? MAYBE. It sure would be unfortunate if you did. Merem will give it a prayer if you ask nicely.]

Rather than question his situation, he tried the door but to no avail. But that spot of black he saw out of the corner of his eye was not very comforting to him.

Merem regained his left arm, the King of Rats. While normally appearing like a white rat, he has the ability to take on any form as long as it's humanoid in size and shape. Other animals or crazy looking things are well out of his boundaries.
The disguise isn't infallible, of course. If your character is a high ranking member of the Church (for the sake of RP since Christianity is the only real religion in Type-Moon) or some other religious organization, sheer dedication to faith will force the Rat King to reveal his true form under a concentrated glare. Also, if your character is just ridiculously dangerous, he'll drop it out of fear because, well, he is a rat after all. And rats are pretty good at picking out who can beat the fudge out of them.

Merem likes to troll. It gives him entertainment value, which is what all Type-Moon vampires live for. Having people see their friends doing something they normally wouldn't do brings joyful guffaws to the yard upon reactions. SO

I have to offer my congratulations to whomever is running this show. I know you're listening in so there's no reason to play shy. I'd love to ask you a simple question. Just one and I promise I'll let it be.
On the other hand, I'll have to ask someone more simpler to explain the situation to me. Just the bare basics, if you please. If you remove all the mystery from it, I doubt I'll have any fun. As a first guess, seeing that I'm speaking English now means I'm either in the United States or in England. The climate seems to only support these two countries so it can't be too much of a leap of faith.
